# Prompts Console: Manage and Inspect Tracked Prompts

> Use the Prefer Prompts console to add, group, filter, and archive tracked prompts, then open any prompt to read the exact answer each engine returned.

The Prompts console is where you manage the queries Prefer runs across every AI engine. It combines a filterable list with a detailed per-prompt view so you can go from "how am I doing overall" to "read the exact ChatGPT answer" in two clicks.

## The list view

At the top of the console, a **Group by** segmented control switches between three views:

* **Prompts**: a flat table of every tracked prompt with columns for the prompt text, engine badges, created date, status, mentions, and Share of Voice. Includes an **Archived prompts** tab.
* **Views**: an expandable table grouped by saved views, with a `+ New view` action.
* **Topics**: the same expandable pattern, grouped by topic.

The toolbar above the list contains Search, Filters, date range, column configuration, and the primary `+ Add prompts` button.

## Add a prompt

  <Step title="Open Add prompts">
    Click `+ Add prompts` in the toolbar. A two-pane modal opens.

  </Step>

  <Step title="Save your selection">
    Selected prompts appear at the bottom. Click **Save prompts N** to add them to your project. They will be included in the next tracking run.
  </Step>
</Steps>

  </Step>
</Steps>

## The Prompt Detail view

Open any prompt to see:

* **Prompt text** and **View all chats** to read the exact answer each engine returned.
* **Other products mentioned** as chips.
* **Share of Voice** with a per-run trend.
* **Prompt volume by region**.
* **Sentiment** for that prompt across runs.
* **Common terms** the engines use around your brand.
* **Prompt fanouts** with citation badges.
* **Industry rankings** as a line chart plus a paginated ranked table.
* **Top Domains** and **Domain types** cited for this prompt.
* **Top Citations** with links out and an Engage action.

<Tip>
  Use the prev/next arrows at the top of the detail view to walk through every prompt in your active filter without going back to the list.
