Scope: how filters change every number

Every metric is always evaluated inside a scope. Scope is set by the Filter Bar at the top of any Monitor page and includes:
  • Date range
  • Engine (multi-select)
  • Topic
  • Persona
  • Region
  • Tag
Change a filter and every metric on the page recomputes for the narrowed set of answers. There is no hidden global filter and no cached value that ignores your selection.

How Delta is labelled

Deltas are always vs previous run, never “vs yesterday”. A run is the unit of time in Prefer, because engines can shift between hours. If you trigger two runs in one day, you will see two deltas.
When comparing yourself to a competitor, filter down to one engine at a time. Blended numbers can hide large swings on a single model.
