The Competitors console shows how your brand stacks up against named rivals across every AI engine. It combines a side-by-side matrix, a gap analysis, a source ownership map, and a change log so you can move from “who is winning” to “which pages should we own next” without switching tools.

The four tabs

The console opens on Compare by default and offers four tabs, in this order.

Compare

A side-by-side matrix of Visibility, Share of Voice, Citation Share, and Sentiment across every tracked competitor. Your row is highlighted with a “YOU” badge and the winning cell in each column is accent-highlighted so you can spot leaders at a glance.

Opportunities

A gap analysis that lists prompts where a rival is named and you are not. Every row shows the prompt, which competitor is winning it, on which engine, and a direct handoff into the Action Center to close the gap.

Sources

A citation map showing which domains cite which brands, split per engine. Filter to a single competitor to see the sources they own that you do not.

Updates

A change log of notable competitor moves: new prompts they entered, big Share of Voice jumps, and citation gains or losses. Historical entries from before the current model remain readable.

The Evidence Drawer

Every tab has a per-engine Evidence Drawer that slides out when you click into a metric or brand. It shows the full answer text from an AI engine for a specific prompt, with brand mentions and cited sources highlighted, so you can verify any number back to raw evidence.

The Competitor Profile

Click any brand name in Compare, Sources, or Updates to open the Competitor Profile: a single-brand deep dive showing that competitor’s Visibility trend, engine mix, top prompts, cited sources, and recent moves.

Add a competitor

1

Open Compare

Go to Monitor > Competitors > Compare.
2

Click Add competitor

Use the + Add competitor action above the matrix.
3

Confirm the brand

Enter the brand name and domain. Prefer suggests matches from what it has already seen in engine answers.
4

Save

The competitor is included in the next tracking run’s rollup and will appear across every tab.
Prefer discovers many competitors automatically from engine answers. Use Add competitor to guarantee coverage of a brand you consider strategic, even if AI has not surfaced them yet.
