Plain terms for using Prefer, written the same way we write everything else here.

These terms govern your use of tryprefer.com and the Prefer product, operated by Kocoa Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By using the site or the product, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Prefer measures how AI search engines and search engines talk about your brand and helps you improve that visibility. We ship improvements continuously, so individual features may be added, changed, or retired as the product evolves.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the information you provide. Tell us at hello@tryprefer.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on our pricing page. Every paid plan starts with a free trial, and no card is needed to start. You can cancel anytime: upgrades apply immediately and are prorated, downgrades take effect at your next renewal, and there is no minimum term. Every paid plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee. If a price changes, the new price applies from your next billing cycle, never retroactively.
Use Prefer for its intended purpose. Do not misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, scrape it in ways that harm it, resell it without our agreement, or use it for anything unlawful.
We work hard to measure AI and search visibility honestly. We do not, and cannot honestly, guarantee a specific ranking, citation, or placement in any AI engine or search engine. Any targets we agree with you are goals we pursue with a clear method, not promised outcomes.
Your data stays yours. You grant us the access needed to provide the service (for example, read-only Search Console or Analytics connections). The Prefer name, site, and content are ours; please do not copy or reuse them without permission.
Prefer depends on third-party AI and search-data providers to do its job. Their availability and results are outside our control, and changes on their side can affect what the product can show.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the service and these terms as Prefer evolves. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
