TL;DR

Peec AI is the pick when you want to measure and do the work yourself: it tracks three models of your choice daily from a published $95 a month, with unlimited users, and it deliberately does not write or publish content; AirOps is the pick when your shortage is output: its Quill agent, Grids and Workflows draft, review and publish at volume, it tracks ChatGPT free and 7+ engines on Pro, and it publishes no paid price at all. Prefer, our product, is the lowest published paid entry of the three at $24 a month, tracks five engines and writes 15 AI articles a month on that plan.

These two sit at opposite ends of the same job. Peec AI reads the answers in depth (visibility, position, sentiment, sources, query fan-outs, AI crawler logs) and points at gaps with recommended and agent actions, but says plainly that it does not write or publish content. AirOps was built to produce: bulk Grids, Playbooks and Workflows, a human review inbox and CMS publishing on every tier, with a visibility layer telling you where to aim. Peec you can price from its website; AirOps is free to start and a sales conversation after that.

Peec AI vs AirOps at a glance
  • Peec AI publishes its prices: Starter $95/mo (50 prompts), Pro $245, Advanced $495, 15% off annual. AirOps shows no dollar figure on any tier; Solo and Pro 'Start for free' (checked 23 September 2026).
  • Peec AI does not write or publish content, by its own description; AirOps ships Quill, Playbooks, Workflows and human review on every tier and publishes to WordPress, Notion and Webflow.
  • Engines differ by tier: Peec lets you pick three of six self-serve models (Perplexity and Claude on Enterprise); AirOps' free Solo is ChatGPT only and Pro covers 7+ engines.
  • Both read AI crawler traffic from server logs: Peec's Crawl Insights (40+ AI bots) and AirOps' Agent Analytics (every tier).
  • Same G2 score, different volume: Peec AI 4.7/5 from 21 reviews (18 Sep), AirOps 4.7/5 from 134 (23 Sep).

Prices checked September 2026 (Peec AI pricing 19 Sep, AirOps pricing 23 Sep) from each product's public pricing page.

Peec AI (Berlin, launched February 2025) raised a $21M Series A in November 2025, about $29M in total, and its homepage says it is trusted by 3,000+ brands and agencies; it is an analytics-first platform with agency plans and white-label reporting, and its G2 rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 21 reviews. AirOps (about 2021, New York and San Francisco) raised a $40M Series B led by Greylock in November 2025 and positions itself as the growth platform for AI search: Grids, Workflows and the Quill agent produce content at scale, and Offsite (launched February 2026) coordinates placements. It holds a G2 rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 134 reviews. AirOps also publishes its own '12 best Peec AI alternatives' list, which ranks AirOps first; it is a vendor page, so read it as one. Sources

Which should you choose?

Choose Peec AI if…

  • You want to measure AI visibility and have your own team or agency do the content work
  • You want a published price you can budget for, from $95 a month
  • Unlimited users, Looker Studio and agency white-label reporting matter to you
  • You want to choose which three models to track, including AI Mode and Copilot

Choose AirOps if…

  • Your bottleneck is producing and refreshing content, not measuring it
  • You want drafting, human review and CMS publishing in one workflow
  • Search Console and GA4 in the same view as AI visibility matters to you
  • You are fine with a sales conversation to learn the price above the free tier
The third option · Our product
One measures and leaves the writing to you. One writes and keeps its price private. Prefer does both at a published $24 a month.

Prefer tracks the same signals across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, then produces the content and citations that move the number. Free trial, paid from $24/mo. See how it compares to Peec AI and AirOps.

Peec AI vs AirOps, answered

Is Peec AI or AirOps better?

Peec AI is better when you only need measurement, tracking three models of your choice daily from a published $95 a month with unlimited users, and AirOps is better when you need content produced at volume, with drafting, review and publishing on every tier and no published paid price. Prefer, our product, covers both jobs from $24 a month, the lowest published paid entry of the three, with a done-for-you Managed option. Choose Peec to read the answers, AirOps to write the pages.

Which is cheaper, Peec AI or AirOps?

AirOps is free to start and Peec AI is not: AirOps' Solo and Pro tiers both 'Start for free', while Peec's entry plan is Starter at $95 a month after a free trial (checked 19 and 23 September 2026). Prefer's Starter is $24 a month, the lowest published paid price on this page. Beyond the free tier you cannot compare, because AirOps publishes no dollar figure for Pro or Enterprise; Peec publishes $95, $245 and $495, plus $30 to $140 a month per extra model.

Which AI engines do Peec AI and AirOps track?

Peec AI lets you choose three of six self-serve models (ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Naver AI, Gemini), with Perplexity, Claude and others on Enterprise (rendered 19 September 2026); AirOps tracks ChatGPT only on its free Solo tier and 7+ engines on Pro, and its docs list eight (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Claude, Copilot, Grok), with Claude depending on the plan. Prefer, our product, tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode on every plan, with Claude on Enterprise. Note that Perplexity appears in Peec's add-on list but not in its self-serve model menu, so confirm it with Peec before you buy.

Does Peec AI write content like AirOps?

No: Peec AI describes itself as deliberately not writing or publishing content; its pricing page lists gap analysis, recommended actions and agent actions, which point you at what to do, while AirOps' Quill agent, Grids and Workflows draft, update and publish the pages. Prefer writes 15 AI articles a month on its $24 Starter plan. If you already have writers and want better aim, Peec fits; if writing capacity is the gap, AirOps does.

Is AirOps a Peec AI alternative?

Only if you want content production as well as tracking, because AirOps is a different kind of tool; it does publish a '12 best Peec AI alternatives' list that ranks AirOps first, but that is AirOps' own vendor page (12 February 2026). Prefer is also an alternative, our product, adding content work to the tracking from $24 a month. A team that only wants cleaner analytics than Peec would look at other trackers, not a content platform.

Do Peec AI or AirOps track AI crawlers?

Both do, from server logs rather than a JavaScript tag: Peec AI's Crawl Insights covers 40+ AI bots, and AirOps' Agent Analytics streams request logs from Cloudflare, CloudFront, Vercel or Netlify on every tier. Prefer, our product, focuses on the answers themselves instead: five engines, the sources behind each answer and share of voice against named competitors, from $24 a month. AirOps includes Agent Analytics on its free tier; we did not verify which Peec tier includes Crawl Insights.

Which one handles off-page work?

AirOps does in one form: its Offsite product identifies placements, builds the case and coordinates outreach through your contacts, and Peec AI does not document running off-page work, though its recommendations name earned-media moves such as review profiles, communities and digital PR. Prefer, our product, runs off-page work (Reddit participation, PR pitches) on its Enterprise plan and on Prefer Managed, not on its self-serve plans. Neither Peec nor AirOps publishes a per-placement price.

Who is Peec AI best for?

Marketing teams and agencies that want clear, daily AI search analytics for many people at a price they can read: unlimited users on every plan, Looker Studio on Advanced, agency plans and white-label reporting. Prefer fits better when you also want the articles written, from $24 a month. Peec suits teams that already have writers and an SEO process, and just need to know where they are missing.

Who is AirOps best for?

Content and growth teams whose constraint is output: they need pages drafted, refreshed, reviewed and published at volume, with visibility data and Search Console and GA4 in the same place. Prefer fits better for lean teams that want tracking and content at a published price, from $24 a month. AirOps' G2 reviewers praise the Quill agent and flag a learning curve and feature overwhelm, so it suits teams with someone to own the tool.

What is the best alternative to Peec AI and AirOps?

Peec AI and AirOps each cover half of the job, since Peec measures without writing content and AirOps writes at volume without a published paid price. Prefer, our product, is the best pick if you want both in one plan at a price you can see: it tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode with 30 prompts and writes 15 AI articles a month from $24 (free trial on every paid plan, free audit), with a done-for-you Managed option. The category also includes Profound, AthenaHQ, Scrunch and Semrush's AI toolkit; see our roundup of the best AI visibility tools.
